Rachel L Ombres, MD

Dr. Ombres is trained in internal medicine, palliative care, and geriatrics, with additional training in supporting the complex needs of older adult cancer patients and adults with chronic illness.

Dr. Ombres completed the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda MD, and the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, University of Virginia, Charlottesville VA. She also completed the General Internal Medicine Research Fellowship in Geriatric Oncology, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine, University of Virginia, Charlottesville VA, and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine - Geriatric Medicine.
